| Home | OK, so you may be asking "Who is
this guy that is posting all of this" ?? Well, here is the long and the short, the fat and the skinny on who William O'Leary/Preacha Bill is. Bawn and raised is Bawstin Massachusetts where I lived for the first 16 years of my life, and then started traveling the world, went to college, lived in big fancy houses, lived on the streets, been in jail a couple of times, and even died once. I attended Word of Life Bible Institute in NY, was ordained in 1984, and have worked with many ministries but the most memorable what was working at Emmaus House in NYC in 1984 after getting out of school. I was a Boy Scout while growing up, the son of a Cub Scout den mother, was awarded by the Boston Herald for having the largest paper route in Reading Mass. (3/4 of the town was my customer) at the age of 13, and loved to skateboard. My first "real job" was at the age of 15 for my neighbor Leo who was a commercial janitor, but I also worked part time at the office for Winchester Cab with my good friend Mike Buck. I have lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, NY, New Hampshire, Virginia, Maryland, Arkansas, Colorado, Washington, and Texas. I have seen every state in this country at least twice and some more than that, I have been to all but two states in Canada, all over South America, London, Paris, Rome and other parts of Italy, and Australia. I am a hippie by nature, a Libertarian for my politics, a heterosexual by choice, a wiz when it comes to fixing broken computers (just like my big brother Chuck), and can make a mean Cawn Chowda. I learned how to defend myself early in life.... kinda helps growing up in the late 60s early 70s in Dawchesta Mass (where I lived), and am versed in Aikido, Qi Gong, and Tai Chi (the latter learned in Boulder). I lived on the streets of Bawstin, Boulder and Fayetteville, have lived in many fine houses and many run down squats, but I have always tried to make the best of whatever I had, or wherever I have lived. Hashem is my God, Yashua Ha Mashiach is my savior, and my eternal being is in their hands (Thank God for that), and will one day stand before them as one that is grateful for the life they have given me. I have had many jobs in my life and count each one a learning experience to be built upon. I drink more caffeine than 20 other people through the miracle of Dr. Pepper and coffee, and can often be found with one or the other (and some times both) in my hand, and can be found at places that serve one or the other. I am not "mentally unstable" as Adam Yoo wrote, but like everyone else on the face of this planet I do have my problems, and do nothing to hide them, but seek to work through them. I do not have a "history of violence" as he put it, but I am not a person that takes kindly to anyone regardless of who they are physically assaulting me, or using aggression against me. I am single (mostly by choice), I am 6' tall, 165 lbs (was once up to 245), I love to bike, hike, camp, sing, write, laugh, cry, smile, and all sorts of fun and happy things. I am the proud parent of a 16 year old in San Antonio and also to 2 very wonderful cats. I have not owned a car since 2003 because I vowed that if gas ever reached $1.50 that I would sell my car (gas officially reached that mark in San Antonio in the fall of 2003), but maintain a perfect driving record and a valid license (never know when gas will be back down below $1.50). If I had my choice of places to live in the US it would have to be Fayetteville Arkansas. If I had my choice of places to live outside the US it would be my mother's home country of Lithuania. My favorite food is beets, my favorite color is blue, I buy all my clothes from Old Navy, I dance like your typical white guy, I play the bass guitar, I have almost 21 years without the use of drugs, and I sleep very well thank you. |
