What does it mean when Adam Yoo claims that the "Austin Art Farm" is a self sustaining intentional community ?? that is a question that a lot of people have asked over the years because what the true definition of these 2 things are is not what Adam's definition is. SELF SUSTAINING: A self sustaining community relies mainly on things that are produced and sold from the community itself, such as vegetables, eggs, fruits, crafts, and other items that can be sold at an open market, and is for the betterment of the local community. The only source of "income" that the "Austin Art Farm" has going for it is the drug paraphernalia that is produced in the glass blowing shop, and that stuff is mainly sold to area head shops and local potheads. INTENTIONAL: Well, the definition of and "Intentional Community" is one that is set up impromptu and is there for the intended purpose of bettering the local community. There is nothing even remotely intentional about the "Austin Art Farm". The only thing that could be considered intentional is the manipulation and control tactics of Ada/m Yoo, and the driving away of many good people that came there with the good intentions of helping fulfill the vision of what the "Austin Art Farm" could have been.
